Big Bear's wedding

So, finally my sister has tied the knot with the man of her dreams. It was a simple wedding so i'm not gonna talk much. Let the pictures do the talking :-

This was taken the night before her wedding. My parents did a small party since all my relatives arrived at my house already.

I didn't manage to sleep the whole night because i was heap nervous about the church ceremony. I was supposed to do the reading and psalm which means i have to go on stage in front of everybody. I was so afraid that i was gonna do something silly(which is always the case).

So yeah..i woke up at 6am to start preparing the "games" to disturb the groom and "heng dais" and then quickly bathe and put on make up and then start helping the bridesmaids to put make up and style their hair. I would i say i did a pretty good job since i have no experience in putting make up for others or styling their hair *proud*

So the games i prepared were:

- limbo(which was a last minute idea)

- use their toes to pick up mahjong tiles in ice cold water which was seriously cold. But got technical error here because i put 2 pairs but i told them 3. HAHAHAHAHA. Pity the boys.

- burst balloons

- reenact Aqua-Barbie Girl MV

All set to face the world wtf.

Big Bear a.k.a. the bride. So damn pretty right? The hotel receptionist commented saying thats the most beautiful dress she's seen. Either it really is the most beautiful or she hasn't seen much dresses. LOL. And at the hotel lobby, got random people request to take picture with her. HAHAHA

I bought this dress from Forever New, Adelaide 2 years ago when i wanted to go for the Masked Ball with Jason Moore but then he had footy so plan cancelled. Finally got to wear this dress and i super love it. Its seriously super pretty.

Eugene was saying that he's chopsticks skills very good and that he can pick up the slippery Pandan dessert. And he did manage to do it and was indeed very proud. LOL!!! Gan don't seem very impressed though.

YAY!!! All end. I can go home and sleep already.

my heels were killing me so i had to stop by Opera to get a pair of flats before continue walking to Michael & Guys to get my hair done and then from Michael & Guys to Benefit for my makeup. So cannot!!! Must change shoes. So i was walking around the mall holding my heels. fml.

Chillax in Style Boutique & Cafe

Hello!!

So there's a new cafe nearby my office and i switched my loyalty from Upper Crust to this cafe(name as per my blog post title).

Spaghetti Carbonara. 

This was what i ordered when i dined here with my colleagues. I got their set lunch which consist of the main, drinks and ice-cream. PSST!! The ice-cream is free flow btw. 

Spaghetti aglio olio. And this is on my 2nd day of dining here. I came here alone the second time because i wanted some time to relax and just go around the cafe to take some pictures.

The white ice-cream is actually their latest flavor which is the Cendol flavor. The lady suggested to try it and so i did. It was alright. I love the frozen cendol in the ice-cream. 

I couldn't resist!!!

Why i love this cafe so much?

Because there's not many people there and its so relaxing and quiet. The cafe's name says it all. Chillax yo!! 

And i actually did notice that most of the offices around here have their lunch time fixed at 12.30pm and mine is 1.00pm. So, I've made the "effort" to control my hunger for an extra 30 minutes so by the time i go for my lunch, most of the other diners would be leaving back to their office.

Like just now, after taking pictures and eating, i just sat beside the teddy bear on the couch and i was just relaxing. Gave me a little energy boost because i really felt like i was at home. Such a good feeling after stressing out at the office.

As for the food, its equally yummy but they should put more ingredients ie meat/mushrooms rather than a lot of pasta noodles. Its still yummy but i would love to eat the pasta noodles with some meat rather than just pepper only.

Overall, its a great cafe and i love it. The lady gotta be prepared to see me more often. HAHAHAHA!!! But not for long since i've already resigned and my future office will be at Sri Hartamas.

excitement!!!

i was just talking to Jason(in the picture) and he just had his beep test today and as expected, he smashed it!! He's definitely a future firefighter and i can't be any more proud of him. I got to know about his dream of being a firefighter and umpire more than a year ago and i have been hoping like crazy that he gets to achieve them.

Well, he just moved to Melbourne as he has just became an umpire for AFL and soon, i hope i'll get the news that he's a firefighter.

I'm hoping to make it to Melbourne for his first game and i told him about my intention just now. Surprisingly, he said i should try to make it and that if his parents are not over in Melbourne, i can always stay at his place. 

I'm touched at that thought because he always seemed to be a private person and i never imagined that he would offer me to stay with him. Looks like despite all that i know about him, i still have a lot more to find out. He's definitely a special person in my life that i would like to keep for the rest of my life.

I'm really praying hard that both of us get to achieve our dreams and support each other along the way. I told him about my dream to be an air stewardess and he's also very supportive of it. When i told him i got a new job as an Accounts Executive, he asked me what about my dream to be a flight attendant. He remembers!! And i'm happy because he's the kind of person who will never do things that he doesn't want to. Super touched!!

Now i just gotta plan my financial status so hopefully i can make it to Melbourne early April for his first game.

Hello. 

I know i MIA for very long but its because i Dayre everything now and it seems very pointless to blog it down twice. 

Can you go download Dayre too pwease? HAHAHAHA!! Okk. Quick update. 

Been catching up with Shamus quite a lot and we've been trying out new aces like pho hoa, maiu and cat in the box.

Didn't do much for Christmas apart from attending church and family dinner. Thats my cousin's Christmas tree. Very uniquely done. Its actually a tree picture on the cloth and she asked her maid to sew some beads on. Super creative!

I also went to Singapore for a short holiday with my family. It was super awesome and relaxing although it kept raining. Thats taken at the Gardens by the Bay.
