Marché @ The Curve

As post exam celebration, we went to Marché at The Curve for dinner. Sharon saw the Groupon deal so we've decided to give it a try. Groupon is such a great way to try new things because if you don't like it, you won't be so sad that you spend so much. If you get what i mean. So lets have a look at what we  experienced there.

So the concept at this restaurant is at the entrance, you are given a "passport" and then you go in. Its sorta a buffet style but you have to pay for every food/drink you order. For example, you want to order a steak, you go to the counter and order it, they write the code on your "passport" and tell you how long do they need. Then you have a seat and after time is up, you go and collect your food. At the end of your dining experience, you go to the counter and pay. As easy as ABC. All the food are mostly cooked on the spot so its very fresh.

Fresh fruit juices. Dad got the passionfruit lychee and Sharon got grapefruit lemonade to share with me but it was too sour for my liking.

the pizza impressed my parents although they didn't manage to try any. Oven wooden pizza. The way they made it look like those traditional Italian pizza.

Passionfruit lychee juice

Beef meatballs.
This is a side dish and because it looked so good,i ordered one portion and the chef was like "just the meatballs? Why don't you order some mains as well?" HEHE! Not interested in the mains though.

Mum enjoying the passionfruit lychee juice. HAHA

Chunky mushroom soup. You can actually eat chunks of mushrooms as opposed to some mushroom soup where you wonder whether is it really made of mushroom or not.

The bread is very loose and soft. Absolutely delicious when you dip it into the soup.

Roasted chicken crepe. Honestly? I didn't like it because they left the skin with the chicken and the chicken has some kind of taste. Those "chickenie" taste which is bad.

seafood aglio olio. They should put more black pepper but its not too bad.

sausage rosti.
This is a MUST. My mum thought it was onions but its actually made of potatoes. Super yummy but sinful.

grapefruit lemonade juice.

bacon baked potato.
DON'T ORDER THIS! This is also a side dish which my sister ordered because she didn't eat that much. Its horribly done. Too much sour cream and the potato was very hard.

Dad suddenly wanted to drink coffee(which is very unlike his usual self) and of course i obliged. I went to the coffee counter and this guy was making teh tarik. I ordered and then started snapping photos and he called out to me and ask me to take a picture of him. I just stared on because i was wondering what he was talking(he was talking gibberish) and then the lady beside me told me that he wanted to take picture of him doing the teh tarik. LOL!!! He got annoyed with me for not taking his picture. Wtf. So cute one!

mama bear and i

papa bear and baby bear

Yummy meatballs. They put Ikea meatballs to shame!

Making my dad's Swiss Mocha

Bad cup of cappuccino here but the Swiss Mocha is AWESOME!!!!
Must must must order the Swiss Mocha if you go there.

Had to smile for the picture but i was actually frowning at that cup of cappuccino.

e-Curve had a 3D art exhibition and we've decided to play around and since i brought my camera along,it was a perfect opportunity.

ohai penguins!!!

Taught mum how to pose! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Hello there tall guy!

Look at my mum casually walking at the back. Spoilt my picture ><

Managed to get my dad to play along. He's usually the very very serious kind that refuses to do these kind of things but he did play along yesterday. So proud of him.

My new pet. Jealous? HAHA.

I just realised that despite me not liking pink colour, i managed to change my laptop and my phone cover to pink. Both are my precious things that i will die without and both are pink now. Personally, i wanted the phone cover because its Victoria Secret and it cost me RM100+ just for a cover. But my laptop cover,no choice. I wanted purple but the choices in Malaysia are pretty limited. It was either red(which my sister had before so i didn't want red), black(i had black for my MacBook Pro) and transparent(which is eew). So pink was the best choice. I know Nick doesn't approve either. HAHAHAHAHA!!! I liked my green cover but it broke. Sigh sigh sigh. Should have bought it online instead.

ok. Back to work now. I'm actually blogging while watching The Originals while at work. I almost cried when i saw the documents piled up on my desk. Thankfully, i'm done with almost all of them. Efficiency much? Alright Gotta run.
